- Park regulations limit the times for nitro and gasoline fueled Internal Combustion powerboats to Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
- Park regulations also restrict gas-powered boats to operation the the southern section of the lakeĀ nearest John F. Kennedy Drive and with a strict noise level ordinance. (See Power Squadron FAQs for more information.)
- Sailboats commonly run in the afternoons, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm every day.
By courtesy, radio controlled boats are requested to keep clear of boats without radio control such as the free sailing sailboats, and all sailors are requested not to interfere with boats that are participating in a race regatta.
